Ahtna provides engineering support to the National Airspace System (NAS) modernization in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) strategic and business plans, concepts of operation, the National Airspace System (NAS) Architecture and Integrated Product Plans.

The primary objective of the contract is to support the NAS Power Requirements and emergency response. Although construction services for new FAA assets/facilities may be required, it is incidental to the primary effort of upgrading, repairing, or restoring equipment and/or facilities as a result of natural disasters or related to NAS Power Programs.
